City transportation
Buses, trams and trolley-buses operate according to schedule from early mornings to late evenings.
Tallinn Card holders may use public transportation free of charge.
Taxis
Consult with the taxi-driver about the approximate cost to the destination beforehand. The price list for taxi services is determined by the taxi operator. Limit prices do not exist, meaning that prices are not uniform for all taxis.
Get acquainted with the yellow price-list on the right-hand rear door of the taxi which must include:
start price (between 2-5 EUR)
waiting hour price (6-20 EUR)
kilometer price (0.51-1 EUR
Parking
Parking on streets in the city centre, downtown andĀ Old Town must be paid for. The ticket confirming the payment of the parking fee must be placed visibly on the windscreen of the vehicle.
The first 15 minutes of parking is free of charge if the driver is using a parking clock or written notice fixing the starting time.
Parking in the city centre:
15 minutes – 0.26 EUR
Monthly parking card – 127.82 EUR
Parking is subject to charge: Mon-Fri 07:00 to 19:00; Sat 08:00 to 15:00
Parking is free of charge on Sundays and on public holidays.
Parking in downtown:
15 minutes – 0,58 EUR
Monthly parking card – 223.69 EUR
